The Beach Penthouses @ Cabarita were reimagined as two distinct yet complementary coastal retreats, each overlooking the breathtaking expanse of Cabarita Beach with uninterrupted ocean views stretching for miles. Melissa, our interior stylist, was contracted to revive these previously dated penthouses and elevate them into refined coastal luxury residences. The surrounding natural serenity and raw beauty of the coastline became the guiding inspiration for the transformation, shaping a design direction that felt both grounded and elevated. A palette of warm timbers, layered textures, and natural materials was introduced throughout the bedrooms and living spaces to soften and modernise the interiors. Elements such as marble, timber, rattan, and linen were thoughtfully combined to create depth and tactility, while sculptural marble coffee tables were used to anchor key spaces and enhance the sense of understated luxury. Raw, earthen artworks by Marilyn Wallace Mitchell were carefully curated to complement the palette, evoking the soft, sand-like tones and organic movement of the natural landscape. The result is a considered balance of texture, warmth, and refinement, successfully transforming both penthouses into elevated coastal sanctuaries that reflect the essence of penthouse living by the sea.
