Adrianne Dimitrakakis is a contemporary artist based in coastal Victoria, Australia. Her work draws on a vintage aesthetic to capture memories of places passed through and those yet to be discovered, shaped by travel, curiosity and cultural exchange.

Her practice explores the rhythms of everyday life across diverse environments, reflecting on the people, objects and subtle details that define a sense of place. With a great appreciation for timeworn textures and found items, each telling their past lives - using this idea within her style of work combined with vivid hues, layered surfaces with a playful tone to evoke life’s simple pleasures through a light-hearted lens.

Her has developed while on the road, travelling to remote archipelagos or new towns, this inspires her to document places through sketching and film imagery and then to painting. These experiences evolved into an ongoing body of work, beginning with an art residency in Greece.
