Hale Mercantile’s Basix Linen Quilt is woven from premium Belgian and French long-fibre flax with poly fibre fill. Mid-weight, it offers more warmth than the coverlet. Designed in Melbourne and meticulously crafted in Portugal, Hale Mercantile’s quilts feature a subtle embroidered pattern in sable-coloured stitching.

With hypoallergenic, moisture-wicking properties for year-round breathability and comfort, Hale Mercantile’s pre-washed linen becomes even softer and more supple over time.

Colour: Please note that Hale Mercantile’s linen is prewashed and softened to achieve a natural aged patina. Colour within any one article can be muted in places as a result. This is not a fault in the linen. It is done with intention to achieve a relaxed, aged style.

Pending on availability, the European flax used to spin the yarns can vary from the grower. This can at times affect the dye lot within the yarns. Dye lot variation is common in processing natural fibres. Whilst Hale Mercantile do their utmost to avoid this there can at times be slight variances to any colour within the Hale Mercantile range.
