Artist Description: Lilla

Inspiration for Lilla stemmed from stories and pictures from Alissa's childhood. Her mother grew up in Port Moresby. Lilla is a reminder of all the photos of the children, the native families and their traditions. The colours of their landscape and the beautiful honesty in their expressions has always been something close to Alissa and something she wanted to capture in this series of works.
