Artist Description: Samson

Inspiration for 'Samson' and 'Nollan' stemmed from stories and pictures from my childhood. My mother grew up in Papua New Guinea, as my grandfather was the magistrate in Port Moresby. I remember looking at all the photos of the children, the native families and their traditions. the colours of their landscape and the beautiful honesty in their expressions, has always been something I have wanted to capture in my work.
